A five-year policy is proposed for the overall and sustainable development of turmeric farmers, with the policy period planned from the year 2022 to 2027. The policy aims to establish all necessary basic infrastructure for turmeric producers, with special attention also given to turmeric processors and exporters. The policy period may be extended as per requirements.
