- Provide reserved funds for the establishment of the Turmeric Research and Training Institute.
- Provide 100 acres of land for setting up the Turmeric Research and Training Institute and Common Facility Center.
- Coordinate with the Central Government and other central agencies for setting up Spice Parks, Food Parks, and group development activities in the state.
- Make efforts to establish a Center of Excellence (CoE) for spice crops in the state.
- Provide funds for various initiatives necessary for the overall development of turmeric farmers in Maharashtra.
